About

Established in 2009, the I-HPA Foundation Charitable Fund assists at risk youth through education and promotion of healthy lifestyle choices.

Mission

Cultivate a community atmosphere of youth-peer and youth-adult partnerships through developing working international relationships with other country youth groups, Partner agencies and organizations to ensure a wide variety of services for youth.

1)        Health/ risky behavior education within schools

2)        Promotion of healthy lifestyle choices through positive youth development

Goals/Objectives

1. Assist in community development and implementation of educational and prevention oriented activities and programs for youth that focus on a healthy lifestyle
2. Develop working relationships between public and private entities and the international community regarding opportunities for youth currently involved in unhealthy behavior to constructively contribute to their community
3. Assist in the marketing and promotion of all existing community youth organizations, programs, groups, and agencies international wide
4. Identify and initiate and/or advocate for fund raising opportunities to bring additional opportunities for international youths
5. Coordinate long-range planning for alignment of public and private resources for international adolescence

Funding Sources

Academic researchers, businesses and industries are increasingly important funding sources to support the I-HPA Foundation.  This support can be in the form of a donations-in-kind, grant, loan, or loan guarantee.
